I Believe. . .

I believe that some peoples' hearts take a little bit longer than others to get to.
I believe that singing music at the top of your lungs is freeing.
I believe that few things beat the smell of a good campfire.
I believe that not eating after 10pm is a good idea.
I believe that my family consists of the best three people on this planet.
I believe that someone should have your trust until they prove you wrong.

I believe that dogs 'just know'.
I believe that the transivity property is obvious, and shouldn't have to be proven.
I believe that everything will happen in God's time.
I believe that cell phones are both the best and the worst.
I believe that being a gentleman/gentle'woman' can go a pretty long way.

I believe that patience (although cliche) is incredibly important.
I believe that you shouldn't hold hands with someone for the simple sake of holding hands.
I believe that real conversation is one of the best things you can come by.
I believe that there's nothing worse than my dad being disappointed in me.  No one wants to let down their superhero.
I believe that the reason people don't like coffee can only be because they don't make it right, or they simply don't want to.
I believe that men shouldn't be judged for sharing real emotions.
I believe that a lot is revealed about a person when they are tested.
I believe that dark grey is a beautiful color.
I believe that hearts are always an important thing to consider.
I believe that Jesus is all I need.
I believe there's beauty in math.
I believe that friendship should never be a matter of convenience.
I believe actions are too easily justified these days.
I believe that a man is ten times more beautiful when he smells good.
I believe that best friends are angels on earth.
I believe that no one should ever be anyone's option.

I believe that focusing on the positive from day to day makes life a lot happier and worthwhile.

Daisies and Snow.

Every single hair on my head has a split end that's about an inch long. I've nearly forgotten how my room at home sweet home is arranged, and I hardly remember which one of my dogs is bigger than the other.  I don't remember what my dad's hug feels like, and my mom's jokes haven't been heard by me in forever.  Only solution is., I need to go home for Easter.
Even if that means snow.  Yep.  Snow.  That's right.  I used to associate Easter with daisies and chocolate bunnies.  Hard to believe that it snowed at home today.  All I know is, it better be gone by Thursday.

In other news, my hours seem to be evaporating faster than a millimeter of water in the heat of all suns.  Seriously.  It's almost 6 already?  Night hours creep up on me like no other, even though I do productive things with my time.  Sleep, homework, working out, and being there for people is what my productivity is mostly directed towards.  I do spend occasional hours of my weeks on reading blogs, checking facebook, eating, and other miscellaneous things., I am a human after all.  But seriously, my roomie and I spend our free minutes talking about how there are no free minutes to be found anymore.
I had this thought today.  Nikweeta approved, so I guess I'll run it passed you.  What about. .. two nights in a day? Yea?  You could eat breakfast, do some work and play some, eat lunch, and then go to bed at about 1pm.  Then we could wake up at 6, eat supper, do more homework, work out, sew a blanket, whatever suits your fancy.  Then go to bed, get up for breakfast and start it all over.  Works right?

Randoms:

  • Shaina just told me that the twist ties are bread loaves are different colors and the color correspond to what day of the week the bread was baked.  Crazy!
  • God rocks, and He blew my mind again yesterday.
  • Intramural volleyball tonight! Wootwoot!

More Hours In A Day.

I'm on my break.
6 hours or constant homework gives me full rights to that.
If there were say. . 12 more hours in a day., I must say I'd be more willing to do homework.  But, there's not, and truth be told, I would like to have some occasional time to write a couple letters, make a couple crafts, and hug a couple friends.
On the brighter side of things, I've been informed that Easter is only two weeks and four days away.  So, it's almost close enough to look forward to.
The thing that stinks after Spring Break is that there really isn't anything 'close' to look forward to.  Every other break has a pretty nearing break to look forward to, but Easter is almost infinitely far away from Spring Break.
But.  Two weeks and four days., now that's approaching.
Tomorrow is a Linear test.  Hardest one yet.  Buh.  Some days, I wonder why I had to go and like math.

Another random thought is that today I'm bitter toward couples.  (Nikweeta and her boy being the obvious exception).  And couples might even be a lie.  The direction of bitterness is mainly toward. . love.  But it's not really.  Gee.  This is hard to explain.  I love love.  And I'm rather fond of the idea of it.  But, I have no time for love and no one to spend that love on (more or less).  And sometimes, honestly, I think that I just have so much love to give and it's just being wasted because I have no one to spend it on, or who wants it spent on them.  I suppose that goes back to wishing I had more hours in a day.

On the contrary, I am blessed with the best friends in the world.  So much so that I can't even explain it.

Randoms (again finally)

  • The word 'queue' is the only word in the English language that is still pronounced the same when the last four letters are removed. Hmm.
  • Beetles taste like apples, wasps like pine nuts, and worms like fried bacon.  If you really want to know, you best try it yourself.  Because I've only heard.  And won't be finding out for myself anytime in the near or distant future.
  • Teal is my favorite color today.
